It's bit a LONG time since I have blogged. I've had more fun in reading others blogs than writing on my own. An especially exciting occurrence for me was being the 100,000th hit on JimbosFrontPorch.blogspot.com! Jim creates the most beautiful wooden crochet hooks. If you haven't checked his blog out, you should.

I haven't stopped crocheting. I made a baby blanket for a relative.

And I have made a few other items. Most everything is for someone else. That's okay. It's one way I can give. Giving can be expressed in many ways. I find that crafter's are a very giving group of people. It's a way of providing a 'hug' to others. Which is what I hope you leave this blog with - a "Hug". Stop by anytime and until then - Hugs to You!

First from Stash!

I have finished a baby afghan from some of my stash! This took longer than usual, as I smashed my thumb in a car door about a month ago. I will not take my thumb for granted ever again! Do you know just how much we depend upon our thumbs? I am still sore. But here is what I have gotten done…..

I decided to put the reverse single crochet on rather than the fancier edging as I am guessing this will be for a little guy. Although I may have used a version of the reverse single crochet after I got to looking at it. But what I did was pretty easy and I think it looks okay. Maybe I can chalk it up to being creative?

Hugs to you until next time.
