This site is dedicated to all who find joy in crocheting. Not only in the joy it brings you, but also in the joy it brings others. Whether you are creating something for someone or for yourself, or if you are teaching others, the feeling is similar to getting a hug! So hugs to you.

How did I start? My Nana taught me to crochet when I was young. I made my first project, a baby afghan, which I still have, and then promptly went on to something else. But in 1994 I 'caught the fever' and I haven't stopped since!

I have been de-cluttering and finally pulled out all (?) of my stash and sorted it. Whew! I thought I would sort in peace as my husband was asleep. Not that he would care, but even I didn't know just how much yarn I had. (I can't resist a sale.) Anyway, I didn't make it; he woke up and when he came into the living room he just asked “Where did all the yarn come from”. Then he said “Now that's an obsession. Okay. I admit it.

Now the question is 'What to do with all of this yarn?" I usually make baby and regular sized afghans, and occasionally slipper socks. But crochet bags have caught my eye. My work is cut out for me. Suggestions welcomed! Check back and let's see what becomes of this stash.

I have more "toys" (stash) than my husband's toys/stuff. He goes for small quantity, high quality and big. He's a great guy!

Merry Christmas to you too!
